    October Explodes With Action-Packed Thrills From New Line Home Entertainment Iron Eagle III: Aces, Detonator II: Night Watch and Live Wire: Human Timebomb Arrive On DVD For The First Time On October 5, 2004

    LOS ANGELES, CA (July 12, 2004) – Explosive action is the name of the game on October 5 as New Line Home Entertainment releases Iron Eagle III: Aces, Detonator II: Night Watch and Live Wire: Human Timebomb on DVD for the first time. Iron Eagle III: Aces, the final film in the successful Iron Eagle series, stars Academy Award® winner Louis Gossett, Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman), and Detonator II: Night Watch, a high-octane sequel to Detonator: Peace Train, stars Pierce Brosnan and Alexandra Paul. An intense action follow-up to the Pierce Brosnan-starrer Live Wire, Live Wire: Human Timebomb offers action fans an edge-of-your set thrill ride. Each DVD title is marked at a $19.97 SRP, and single unit order date is September 7, 2004.

    All three titles feature widescreen (1.85:1) versions of the films, plus DTS sound, 5.1 Surround and Stereo Surround, English and Spanish subtitles and closed captions. Previews of other New Line Home Entertainment action titles are included on the discs, and each disc is DVD-Rom enabled. An original theatrical trailer is included on Iron Eagle III: Aces.
    IRON EAGLE III: ACES
    (Academy Award® winner Louis Gossett, Jr.) is back, working air shows with his friends in vintage planes. When he discovers a friend is mixed up in a drug-smuggling scheme, he decides to take immediate action. It turns out that the lives of some villagers in Peru are at stake, and Chappy and his friends embark on a rescue mission in their ancient planes to free them. This action-packed conclusion to the high-flying Iron Eagle series delivers spectacular air and ground battles, outstanding special effects and the most unique combination of air weaponry ever filmed. The movie also features two-time “Ms. Olympia” Rachel McLish, Rob Estes (TV’s Melrose Place, TV’s Silk Stalkings) and Paul Freeman (Raiders of the Lost Ark).

    DETONATOR II: NIGHT WATCH Rated R for some violence · 99 minutes
    Pierce Brosnan (Die Another Day, the upcoming After the Sunset) stars in this fast-paced thriller based on Night Watch by Alistar MacLean (The Guns of Navarone and Lawrence of Arabia). Mike Graham (Brosnan) and Sabrina Carver (Alexandra Paul, TV’s Melrose Place, TV’s Baywatch), top agents for the UN, are sent to recover a stolen Rembrandt. Crossing the globe in pursuit of the painting, the secret agents stumble upon a North Korean bomb designed to destroy the communications systems of the West. What starts as a straightforward mission ends in a complex web of global conspiracy that threatens the future of the modern world.
