    Paul Walker Stars in the Adrenaline-Fueled Actioner Running Scared Available on DVD June 6, 2006, From New Line Home Entertainment

    LOS ANGELES, CA (March 13, 2006) – On a race to save his life from those who uphold the law and those who break it, Paul Walker (Eight Below, 2 Fast 2 Furious) stars in the fast-paced, gritty action thrill-ride Running Scared, available on DVD June 6, 2006, from New Line Home Entertainment. The film, also starring Chazz Palminteri (In the Mix, The Usual Suspects), Vera Farmiga (The Manchurian Candidate, 15 Minutes) and Cameron Bright (Birth, The Butterfly Effect), follows a low-level mobster who, in order to save his family, must recover a gun used in a mob hit before it’s found by his bosses or the cops. From acclaimed filmmaker Wayne Kramer (The Cooler), the DVD will feature an audio commentary from the director and a behind-the-scenes featurette titled Running Scared: Through the Looking Glass. Running Scared will be available on DVD at a $27.95 SRP, and the order due date is May 6, 2006.
    SYNOPSIS
    Low-level mob hand and loving family man Joey Gazelle (Walker) finds his life turned upside-down when he ignores the mob’s instructions to dispose of a gun used in the fatal shooting of a corrupt cop during a bungled drug buy. After stowing the gun in his basement for future use as collateral against his employers, his son’s best friend, Oleg (Bright), discovers and steels the weapon to shoot his abusive stepfather, the black sheep of the Russian mob. Setting off a wild chase from both the mob and a corrupt cop who is hell-bent on profiting from the missing gun, Joey embarks on a chilling, bloody pursuit, maneuvering his way through a horrific web of criminals on a frantic night-long search, to locate Oleg, retrieve the gun and make it home to his family – alive.
