  The Roller Coaster Ride of Your Life - Or Death - Hits DVD As Final Destination 3 Takes You Beyond Terror on July 25, 2006

  LOS ANGELES, CA (April 4, 2006) – Live or die? You decide. Give death the fight of its life as Final Destination 3: Thrill Ride Edition, the latest and most terrifying installment of the hit franchise, arrives on DVD on July 25, 2006, from New Line Home Entertainment. Packed with killer bonus features, Final Destination 3: Thrill Ride Edition puts viewers in the driver’s seat with the unique “choose-their-fate” interactive viewing option, allowing viewers to change the course of the film and the destiny of the characters!
  
  When a vivid premonition of a fatal roller coaster crash becomes reality, Wendy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead; Sky High, the upcoming Bobby) and Kevin (Ryan Merriman; The Ring Two, The Deep End of the Ocean) narrowly escape a horrifying death. Their nightmare is not over, however, as they soon realize that death cannot be cheated.
  
  Directed by James Wong, who helmed the first film in the series, Final Destination 3 will be available in a two-disc, “Thrill Ride Edition.” The DVD allows viewers to watch the original, theatrical version of the film as presented in theaters, or exercise the “choose-their-fate” option which offers all-new, alternate sequences and dozens of possible viewing combinations. The DVD set also includes director and writer commentary, a behind-the-scenes documentary and more, available in both widescreen or fullscreen versions at a $29.93 SRP.
  
  Additionally, for the ultimate adrenaline rush, all three Final Destination films will be available in a four-disc, “Thrill-ogy” 3-pack, complete with loads of death defying DVD extras, at a $59.85 SRP. The order due date for Final Destination 3: Thrill Ride Edition and the Final Destination “Thrill-ogy” is June 13, 2006.
  SYNOPSIS
  On what should be one of the happiest days of her life, high school senior Wendy (Winstead) joins her friends for a graduation night celebration at a local amusement park. Secured in her seat on a roller coaster, Wendy experiences a vivid premonition of a fatal accident in which the roller coaster becomes a death trap for her and her friends. Emerging from her terrifying vision and still on the ride platform, Wendy demands to be let out of the coaster car. When a fight breaks out, a handful of students are forcibly ejected from the ride. As they watch their classmates and friends from the ground below, Wendy’s premonition proves nightmarishly true – the coaster careens out of control, and all of those aboard perish. But that’s only the beginning…
  
  Those who survive the disaster discover that fate is hard to escape. They were meant to die – and death is not so easily cheated! It’s not long before death comes to claim its next victim, and it’s through this tragedy that Wendy realizes that there are clues to the survivors’ impending demise contained in photos she took at the amusement park that fateful night. As Wendy and her classmate Kevin (Merriman) desperately try to interpret the clues that might save lives, one-by-one their friends meet fantastically gruesome ends…and soon it will be their turn.
